Vice-Provost (International Affairs) Visits Geneva to Chair Two United Nations Human Rights Events
Vice-Provost, International Affairs, Dr. Bonny Ibhawoh visited Geneva in November to chair and moderate two United Nations human rights events in his capacity as a UN human rights expert and rapporteur. Dr. Ibhawoh also used the opportunity to highlight McMaster’s initiatives and contributions to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The events include the UN Social Forum 2023 panel on the contribution of science, technology, and innovation to the promotion of human rights, including in the context of post-pandemic recovery and the formal session of the UN Expert Mechanism on the Right to Development.
