The Office of International Affairs Celebrates Another Year of Successful Summer Programs
The Office of International Affairs resumed its in-person Summer Programs for international students during the months of July and August. Despite post-pandemic travel difficulties, we welcomed a cohort of about 80 students from China (Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, Fudan Shanghai Medical College, and Shanghai International Studies University) and Japan (Meiji University) to attend our Summer English, eHealth, Strategy and Communication, and the Summer Research Internship programs.
The Office of International Affairs received scholarships from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and arranged five excellent undergraduate students nominated by McMaster Science and Engineering faculties to participate in USTC’s Future Scientist Exchange Program in July.
