McMaster University Hosts a Delegation from Chungbuk National University
On November 7th, the Office of International Affairs had the pleasure of welcoming representatives from Chungbuk National University, South Korea. Dr. Tae-Soo You, Dean of the Office of International Affairs, was accompanied by Ms. Yoanna Cho, Team Lead, and Ms. Soo-Jung Choi, Coordinator, to discuss potential avenues for collaboration between our two universities.
This visit marked a promising step towards building a long-lasting and fruitful partnership. The discussions centered around a variety of potential collaborative opportunities, including the development of summer short programs, student and faculty mobility programs, joint research initiatives, and formalizing a Memorandum of Understanding MOU to establish a framework for potential collaboration.
Both institutions are excited about the possibilities this partnership holds. This initial meeting has set a strong foundation for future endeavors that promise to benefit students, faculty, and researchers alike, paving the way for an enriching and sustainable alliance between our two universities.
