McMaster Institute for Research on Aging and the University of Birmingham’s School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences welcome experts
From November 25-26, 2024, the McMaster Institute for Research on Aging (MIRA), with their partner the University of Birmingham’s School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences, are proud and inspired to have welcomed experts from all over the world to Burlington, Ontario for the international consensus meeting on wearables for measuring mobility in aging populations.
This two-day meeting aimed to develop consensus on best practices for using wearable devices to measure mobility, in the context of inclusivity through aging. The partnership looks forward to the emergence of an international consensus statement on the use of this technology for measuring mobility in aging populations.
