Two world class Universities of higher education come together for a panel discussion on access to higher education and the obligations of both the University of West Indies (UWI) and McMaster University to provide higher calibre programs, participate in impactful research and advance societies for a shared vision. Six panelist will discuss some of the guiding principals guiding their institutions. The panel includes distinguished colleagues such as:


    

  • Dr. Luz Longsworth, Pro-Vice-Chancellor And Principal Of The University Of The West Indies (UWI) Open Campus and the PVC in charge of Global Affairs
    • 

  • Dr. Michael Bucknor, Senior Lecturer, The Department of Literatures in English, UWI- Mona.
    • 

  • Dr. Juliet Daniel, Professor and Cancer Biologist in the Department of Biology at McMaster University. Dr. Daniel has received several awards including a UWI Vice Chancellor’s Award, a Hamilton YWCA Women of Distinction Award

  • Dr. Daniel Coleman, Professor of English, McMaster University.

  • Vivian Lewis, University Librarian, McMaster University

  • Judge Dr. Pamela Appelt, Retired Judge, Court of Canadian Citizenship
