The CSPS international fellowship aims to improve relationships with developing countries and improve surgical outcomes in in those areas and around the world. The selected fellow will gain access to Canadian resources while in Canada which may help improve care in East Africa.
Impact
Current surgical outcomes will be presented at The CSPS annual meeting and this will be used a a benchmark for the changes and improvements in the coming years.
Student Experience
The international fellow will visit different Canadian surgical facilities and learn new techniques and approaches to assist in providing safe and effective surgical care in Zimbabwe.
