University of Ruse delegation visits McMaster Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering

Over the week of June 9th, a delegation of faculty from the University of Ruse Department of Automation and Electronics visited McMaster’s Faculty of Engineering as part of an Erasmus+ exchange program. The delegation included Professor Anelia Manukova, DSc; Associate Professor Desislava Atanasova, PhD; Associate Prof. Snezhinka Zaharieva, PhD; and Assistant Professor Yavor Neykov, PhD, all faculty of Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Automatics.
On Monday, June 9th, the delegation met with McMaster’s Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, including Dr. Shahram Shirani, Professor and Department Acting Chair; Dr. Natalia Nikolova, Professor and Associate Chair (Research); Dr. Kanwarpal Singh, Associate Professor; and Dr. Scott Chen, Assistant Professor. This meeting set the stage for the week of busy programming, including tours of the Centre for Advanced Nuclear Systems, and Hatch Buildspace.
