The OIA team gathers for a one-day office retreat

Last week, the OIA team collectively reflected on working achievements, processes and planned for the implementation of new ideas. This retreat sought to enable us to take a step back from the day-to day work to discuss McMaster University’s Global Engagement Strategy 2025-2030 by brainstorming actionable ideas for implementation of its core principles and collaboratively define a Partner Portfolio and Engagement Approach aligned with McMaster’s goals and Global Engagement Strategy.
A day of team building, planning, problem solving and socializing away from the office helped the team connect on a personal level, gave a chance to step away from responsibilities for a bit and a great time to get everyone to share their ideas and have open, honest conversations.
