Office of International Affairs hosts Dr. Chris Twine from Warwick University

On March 13th, The Office of International Affairs welcomed Dr. Chris Twine, Secretary to Council, Warwick University. At McMaster, he met with Dr. Andrea Thyret-Kidd, University Secretary and Chief Governance and Privacy Officer, Ms. Anna Purina, Chief Internal Auditor and Mr. Colin George, Chief Risk Officer and McMaster Global Ambassador. Representatives from both institutions met to learn about each other’s institutional approaches and exchanged experiences and perspectives focusing on governance as well as key challenges, opportunities, and improvements in decision-making—especially in overseeing innovation and new business growth.

McMaster University and Warwick University have had a long-standing relationship which began in 2006 and since then have had a robust exchange of students to and from each other’s institutions.
