McMaster’s OIA Facilitates a Five-Day Online Training Program at the University of Science and Technology of China

The Office of International Affairs successfully facilitated a five-day online training program offered to medical doctors and nurses from the First Affiliated Hospital of the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC).
This is the third group of medical professionals from USTC to participate in the seminar series under “Approaches to Medical Education and Research at McMaster University with focus on Problem-Based/Evidence-Based Learning Curriculum”. At the opening ceremony, Dr. Amira El Masri thanked USTC School of Clinical Medicine for their trust and support in the program; she also expressed gratitude to the teaching team. The program would not be sustainable without the immense support from McMaster’s medical faculty.
In his congratulatory remarks at the closing session, Dr. Bonny Ibhawoh stressed McMaster’s dedication to cultivating global competencies and expressed our willingness to further strengthen and explore new collaboration opportunities with the prestigious research institution across the world.
