McMaster hosts another delegation from Aga Khan University in October
On Oct 3rd, Deans from AKU’s School of Nursing and Midwifery (East Africa, Pakistan), Institute for the Study of Muslim Civilisations, and Director, Global Engagements spent an insightful day at McMaster. We delved into advancing nursing education and leadership in global health, while exploring how the rich legacy of Muslim civilisations can foster diversity, pluralism, and inclusion. Our conversations reflected deeply on the critical role universities must play in transitioning from arenas of conflict to hubs of understanding, dialogue, and solutions in the face of geopolitical challenges.
