On May 28, McMaster’s Global Ambassador, Dr. Ally Prebtani, met with McMaster alumnus Shuji Arisaka at an alumni breakfast in Tokyo. The visit offered a valuable opportunity to reconnect, learn about his impressive career path since completing his MBA at McMaster, and reflect on the global impact of McMaster graduates.
During their conversation, Ally heard firsthand how Shuji has built on his McMaster experience in his professional journey in Japan, highlighting the strength of the university’s international network. Encounters like this underscore the reach of the McMaster alumni community and the meaningful ways graduates continue to represent the university around the world.
The Tokyo gathering also reinforced McMaster’s commitment to staying connected with alumni, wherever they are based. Alumni are encouraged to share ideas on how the Tokyo community can remain engaged—whether through mentoring current students, networking with fellow graduates, or supporting new initiatives. McMaster is deeply appreciative of alumni like Shuji who continue to be part of the McMaster family and looks forward to building on these connections in Japan.
Dr. Ally Prebtani helps to strengthen McMaster’s global connections by meeting with alumni abroad, learning about their paths since graduation, and sharing updates from the university. His visit to Tokyo reflects McMaster’s ongoing commitment to nurturing relationships with graduates around the world.
