How can universities create meaningful learning opportunities that cross borders?
As part of International Education Week 2026, McMaster’s Office of International Affairs (OIA) invites faculty, staff and academic leaders to an interactive Town Hall exploring Transnational Education (TNE) and the possibilities it could open for McMaster’s global engagement.
The session will introduce different TNE models, explore why universities around the world are embracing transnational education, and invite the McMaster community to share ideas about what future engagement could look like here. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, exchange perspectives and help shape the conversation around TNE at McMaster.
The discussion will also connect TNE to McMaster’s broader internationalization goals, including the Global Engagement Strategy and Bolder Together.
This session is open to McMaster staff and faculty only.
