Exciting opportunity: Cohort 2 of the International Youth Internship Program Opens on March 31st!

We are thrilled to announce that McMaster University and Empowerment Squared are opening applications for the second cohort of our  International Youth Internship Program on March 31, 2025. This unique initiative is designed to empower young individuals with the skills, knowledge, and support needed to achieve their personal and professional goals on a global scale.  

Who Should Apply for the IYIP: We are looking for passionate young individuals committed to personal growth and community development. Whether you are a student, a recent graduate, or someone looking to make a positive change, this program is for you! 

Why Apply for the IYIP? You will gain valuable international work experience, enhance your employment opportunities and leadership capacity, and acquire professional job skills. 

How to Apply for the IYIP: Applications will be accepted starting March 31, 2025. To apply, visit  International Youth Internship Program – McMaster Global and complete the online application form. The deadline for applications is May 02, 2025. 

IYIP Eligibility Requirements: 

• 18-30 years old on the date of travel. 

• Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident 

• Willingness to commit to a 4-month stay in the destination country.  

• Valid passport for at least 6 months on the date of travel.  

• Opportunities are open to students and community members.
