The McMaster Global Health MSc Program and Mac Med Global Health Committee are proud to present the McMaster Global Health Conference 2020! This conference, originally scheduled for March of 2020, will now be held on November 7 & 8th online and we’d love it if you could all join us virtually! The conference will be held from 11am-3pm each day to accommodate for anyone living on the West coast.
The theme for GHC 2020 will be “Working Locally, Thinking Globally.” This theme reflects our belief that global health issues faced by different populations worldwide have an impact on the health of everyone, regardless of the national borders in which they live. It is an acknowledgement of our duties and responsibilities as global citizens, and aims to push those attending the conference to think critically about the ways in which they can tackle global issues from a local lens.
GHC 2020 will showcase exciting research, speaker presentations, and workshops in global health.
