Call for Proposals: IAU 2025 International Conference

McMaster is a longstanding member of the International Association of Universities (IAU) which was created under the auspices of UNESCO in 1950.

IAU 2025 International Conference will be focused on the theme of Building Trust in Higher Education taking place from 21-23 October 2025 at the University of Rwanda. Framed by the conference concept note, the IAU has opened this call for proposals to identify speakers from different regions of the world who may contribute to the important conversations during breakout sessions of the International Conference program. Submit a proposal here. The deadline for submissions is 25 April 2025.

The Office of International Affairs (OIA) has allocated funds to cover the cost of one successful application. We encourage our faculty and staff to apply and reach out once their abstract/presentation is accepted. Funds will support flights, accommodation and per-diem. If more than one proposal from McMaster is accepted, a committee will be convened to select one applicant for funding.
