Building Global Ties: Deputy Provost Meets McMaster Alumni in Paris

Dr. Matheus Grasselli, Deputy Provost at McMaster University, recently attended a workshop he helped organized in Paris and hosted an alumni dinner in support of McMaster’s Global Ambassador (MGA) program, bringing together two McMaster graduates now based in the city, Patrick Fayard and Luiza Vlasenko.

The small gathering offered a valuable opportunity to reconnect in person, hear updates on their professional journeys in France, and reflect on how their McMaster experience has shaped their careers. The conversation also explored ways for Paris‑based alumni to remain engaged with McMaster, including supporting future initiatives in the region through networking, mentoring, and participation in upcoming alumni activities.
