This two-day workshop held at York University featured speakers from a number countries and attracted scores of auditors and participants from around the area. Its particular focus was on introducing perspectives and traditions outside the mainstream of English-language social and political theory and philosophy.
Impact
The principal outcome was a collected volume published in spring 2017 by Columbia University Press featuring authors from a number counties and contributions translated from French, German, and Spanish.
Student Experience
Graduate students were closely involved in the planning and execution of the workshop and volume, and were well represented at the workshop.
