Examining the impact of tobacco pricing and packaging strategies on tobacco use and equity in middle-income countries. This 5 year project with funds of $2 million CDN is funded jointly by CIHR and the Global Alliance for Chronic Diseases. It will analyse household survey data from Bolivia, Chile, and India to examine the effect of changes in prices and packaging on tobacco use in middle income countries, informing strategies to reduce consumption.
