A day long workshop was organized in the context of the International Political Science Association World Congress, to explore several thematic questions related to the adoption, design specifics, implementation and outcomes of ethnic quotas in elections around the world. Workshop included researchers from 10 countries, and the presentation of 20 scholarly papers, several of which have been subsequently published.
