Short-term research/dissemination goals are: to conduct a set of robust pilot studies, to show proof of concept, by implementing in various education settings approaches to mathematics education that incorporate computational thinking, to evaluate effectiveness, and to build pedagogical models and resources for wider dissemination. Our longer-term goal is to develop as a team of researchers, along with national and international collaborators, to fill the current research gap in this area and providing research, curriculum and policy leadership.
